Recently I have been testing several online eyewear shops to compare frames and lenses. If they ignore basic questions or reply with copy pasted text, I become suspicious. A good store usually answers questions quickly and does not hide behind canned messages. Comfort around the heel and toes is more important than super fancy design. For things that I use every day, I prefer to pay a bit more if the quality is stable.

It makes it easier to compare with an old pair of glasses that already fits well. From my experience, communication with the store can tell you a lot. Each material has advantages and disadvantages depending on season and activity. That is why I sometimes leave comments myself when I test a new shop or product. Now I try to read as many real user reviews as possible before I buy anything.
